Collaborative Care

Rhode Island Nutrition Therapy (RINT), was founded by Wendy Leonard, MS, RDN in 2021 and she is the co-founder of HINT RD, LLP along with her partner Sarah Durand, RDN.

Wendy was the sole Dietitian at RINT, providing nutrition counseling to clients with nutrition related diseases, specializing in gut health, women’s health, hormone health and overall well-being. Sarah was one of Wendy’s Dietetic Interns, they quickly became very close bonding over shared interests and goals in the field of nutrition. This aspired them to create programs within RINT allowing them to reach specific groups of people, where they could share their knowledge and expertise in the various fields of nutrition related health.

RINT has grown quickly to become a team of Dietitians and Lifestyle Coaches dedicated to providing nutrition education programs and counseling services to adults. One of RINT’s largest collaborations has been with the Department of Health, offering their Ready for Health, A Diabetes Prevention Program, for those looking to gain a better understanding and management their blood sugar levels in preventing Type II Diabetes.

HINT RD and RINT continue to work close together, both with a mission of treating a person as a whole with individualized nutrition therapy. HINT RD is a sister company to RINT, separate in the specialty of Pediatric Nutrition care from infancy through young adulthood.
